Batman Arkham Knight Gotham is Mine Trailer Breakdown – Enemies, the Batmobile, & More

March 2, 2015 by Ryan Parreno

Lastly, the Scarecrow’s description hints at another major villain. In fact, this other villain could be the actual mastermind.

The Batman: Arkham Knight website has updated with new details on three of the game’s antagonists, as relayed to use by CabooseXBL. You can subscribe to Caboose on YouTube here.

There were some recently revealed codes that you can use on the site to access character descriptions. We covered these codes briefly here, but you can watch Caboose’s video to get details on how to access the site and get the details there. We will focus on what those descriptions say here.

Harley Quinn comes into her own as a Gotham gangleader. A year after Joker’s death, she’s taken over the gang and has built a reputation as a vicious boss of her own.

Pamela Isley’s description is interesting, as it appears that she isn’t quite part of the alliance of Batman’s rogues gallery, but the Scarecrow wanted her to be in on it. As we’ve seen in the trailer, she seems to serve as an informant for Bruce. This does not rule out the possibility that you’ll be fighting her, as she clearly has her own agenda.

What it does rule out, unfortunately, is the possibility that Rockstar will bring in the Quinn – Ivy pairing to the Arkham games. Quinn and Ivy were originally paired together in Batman: TAS, and proved popular enough to bring to the comics, but Rockstar clearly placed the two far apart from each other.

Lastly, the Scarecrow’s description hints at another major villain. The last we saw Crane, he was badly mauled by Killer Croc. Now, we know he has had reconstructive surgery, but of the kind that’s left him deformed. Caboose, our source, posits that this surgery was performed by Bruce’s one major surgeon-villain, Dr. Thomas Elliot, AKA, Hush.

I’ll bring up one thing here. In every Arkham game, we have seen that the supervillain advertised in the trailers is never the actual final mastermind. In fact, they never appear there. If Hush is the Scarecrow’s surgeon, could it be possible that he is the one actually calling the shots? Could he be the last mastermind in Rocksteady’s final game? Share your ideas on this in the comments.

Batman: Arkham Knight is coming to Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on June 2, 2015.
