Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’s Atlas Gorge Now Available for $5

February 11, 2015 by Ian Miles Cheong

Atlas Gorge has been added to the game’s standard map rotation and is being sold for $5.

Atlas Gorge, the map previously only available to holders of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’s DLC Season Pass, is now available for purchase at $5.  The standalone DLC allows players to purchase the map without also having to pick up the DLC Season Pass.

The map will subsequently not be on its own playlist, but will be added to the standard playlist rotation of TDM, Domination and Kill Confirmed. However, players must own the map in order to keep playing.

Activision has not made it clear as to how the game will separate players who own the map from those who don’t, but it’s reasonable to assume that players without access to the map will be kicked from the game when Atlas Gorge gets the most votes.

In previous games, Activision offered bonus maps for Ghosts and Black Ops 2 for free before adding the maps into the standard rotation, so it’s hard to explain why they’re handling it differently this time around.
