Tripwire Interactive shared a few new screens of Killing Floor 2, to coincide with their presence in PAX South.
As you can see, the jump from the last game has meant a lot. With more realistic graphics comes more terrifying creatures, and bloodier and more visceral action. Deep in once prosperous Europe, humanity has no defense against this ungodly horde of laboratory grown monsters and horrors that defy description.
The game has certainly come a long way from being an Unreal Tournament mod. Now, Killing Floor 2 is set to be released this year on Windows, Steam OS, and PlayStation 4.
It remains to be seen if Tripwire can truly deliver with Killing Floor 2, but considering the subject matter, it really does not take a lot of complexity to depict blunt violence on this scale.
