Life is Strange Butterfly Effect Developer Diary

Life is Strange is going to be a very peculiar title.

Life is Strange is coming from a developer that's set on changing the face of gaming. Dontnod Entertainment's vision is to provide a type of video game that forces players to think deeply about their in-game decisions. In Life is Strange, players have the ability to rewind time, which should prove to create some very tough moral choices throughout the game.

In a new developer diary, various members of Dontnod Entertainment's staff discuss Max's ability to rewind time and how this has influenced the development process. They've made copious use of the phenomenon known as the 'Butterfly Effect.' One small example of this is: If you kill a butterfly in Los Angeles, a building will fall down in Paris. While highly unlikely, there's that probability that a certain chain of events could make it happen.
