Sony has announced that the 500GB PlayStation bundle will now include a free copy of Naughty Dog's The Last of Us Remastered.
The console on its own usually costs $399.99 and the price hasn't changed due to the addition of the game. On the PlayStation Blog, John Koller, VP of platforms marketing at SCEA, commented: "I’m really excited to announce our 500GB PS4 bundle will now include The Last of Us: Remastered — at no additional cost. Experience one of the most critically-acclaimed exclusives that received more than 200 game of the year awards, complete with enhanced visuals and additional content."
The Last of Us was originally released in 2013 for PS3 before being released with a number of enhancements on PS4 last year. Left Behind, Naughty Dog's only ever single player DLC was also released in 2014 and is currently a nominee for the Writer's Guild of America award for gaming. Copies of The Last of Us Remastered include Left Behind.
Earlier this month, Sony revealed that global sales of the PS4 had passed 18.5 million by the end of 2014.
