Sony's Playstation Network is slowly regaining its accessibility, according to a recent statement made by the company.
"From time to time there may be disruptions in service due to surges in traffic, but our engineers will be working to restore service as quickly as possible,"
This slow, drip-paced return of the service has many gamers rejoicing, as they are now able to enjoy their holiday gifts in full. While they might have been able to experience the single player portions of their games, half of the fun nowdays is being able to share your time spent gaming with others.
Lizard Squad, a hacking group, was behind these attacks. Apparently, a little appeasement from MegaUpload founder Kim Dotcom was all it took to halt the attacks. Dotcom offered Lizard Squad 3,000 MegaPrivacy vouchers, which work with a service that provides secure storage and more.
