If you're not familiar with the name Ninja Theory, then you probably never played Heavenly Sword. If you've never played Heavenly Sword, then you probably never owned a Playstation 3. Basically, you should know the developer, because they're doing big things and they're doing them well. Ninja Theory have not yet released anything for the eighth generation of consoles, but the developer is hard at work on hack-and-slash title Hellblade. This will mark the studio's debut in the new console cycle, with Hellblade releasing as a Playstation 4 exclusive title. Though, for fans of Ninja Theory who decided to go the Xbox One route, things may be looking up.
A tweet published by Ninja Theory's official Twitter indicates that the studio is working hard on an entirely different project. Considering the 140 word character count of Twitter can be a bit cryptic, there's not much more information available on this new project.
Here's the tweet:
"Hellblade development continues at full pace, but on Monday we have cool news to share on a different project."
It's good to know that their new project will be announced on Monday, though. It can be a real waiting game when a developer teases something that they can't share for three weeks. How crazy would it be if Ninja Theory was working on an Xbox One exclusive title, while at the same time developing Hellblade? I don't think that's the case, but it would be pretty funny.
