Nintendo snuck another little firmware update for its Wii U console out the door earlier today, bringing the system up to version 5.3.2. Nothing really all that special to report this time — v5.3.2 is another one of those infamous "stability and usability" fixes that don't have any immediately noticeable effect. But the further away we move from the pitiful OS infrastructure of Wii U's launch, the better.
What might interest you is the update that came just four days prior, which "resolved an issue that resulted in some users receiving error code 104-1852 while uploading a Mario Kart 8 highlight reel to YouTube." If you've been trying to share your sick driving achievements with the world lately, this is bound to be good news.
Come to think of it, users have also been reporting 160-0103 and 160-1710 error codes when trying to play "For Glory" mode in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. These same errors have popped up in a few other games as well, leading Nintendo to promise to get to the bottom of this mess. Once the solution is found, I bet you anything we'll be seeing a v5.3.3 update shortly thereafter.
