Nintendo is really taking to this magical social media thing. Not content with just sharing details of the squid-based shooter Splatoon over Twitter, Nintendo is also letting its Monolith Soft developers tweet about the upcoming RPG Xenoblade Chronicles X. Of course, the official Twitter page is all in Japanese — thankfully, we have the folks of NeoGAF working on translations.
So far, the team hasn't discussed any hard game details; rather, they are sharing behind-the-scenes information for the time being. One of the more fascinating pieces of info is that the anime script writer Kazuho Hyodo is co-authoring the game. Hyodo is nowhere close to being a household name, but he is notable for having written several episodes of the Gundam AGE and Gundam SEED Destiny anime, among other shows. He should be able to inject some of his heavy sci-fi experience here.
Keep an eye on that NeoGAF page for future translations. Then sit tight for the launch of Xenoblade Chronicles X for Wii U in 2015.
