Total War: Attila will be released on February 17th 2015, developer Creative Assembly has revealed.

Those who pre-order the strategy title will get the first downloadable content for free on the game's launch day. The DLC in question is called The Viking Forefathers Culture Pack, which introduces three additional playable factions to the game: The Danes, The Jutes and, The Geats.

Each of the Norse factions come with their own naval units, missions, traits, and territory. If you don't pre-order, the DLC will cost £5.99 / €7.49 / $7.99.

A special edition of the game has also been revealed, and adds extra items, including The Attila The Hun Biography, and a reference guide poster.

Total War: Attila was announced in September, and there's a new video you can watch below.
