Game of Thrones Can Now be Pre-Ordered on Steam

November 24, 2014 by Stephen Daly

Winter is, oh, you know the rest.

Telltale's Game of Thrones can now be pre-ordered from Steam, with those who opt to buy the game ahead of its release gaining access to a 10 per cent discount.

The game normally costs $27.99, but can be acquired for €25.19 at the moment. Steam simply states that the first episode of the series will be available from December, but presumably we should be getting a fixed release date any day now.

Telltale has comfirmed that the game takes place at the start of season five, and revolves around five playable members of House Forrester, a minor family in the series, but major characters from the A Song of Ice and Fire Saga, including Cersei and Tyrion Lannister, will be making an appearance.

Last week, a teaser trailer for the game was released and you can watch it here.

In all, there will be six episodes of Telltale's Game of Thrones and hopefully we won't be waiting to know between each one.
