Grand Theft Auto 5 is coming to PS4 and Xbox One next week, and to celebrate Rockstar is looking back at the activities of players over the past year in the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game.
The developer tells us that the title has almost 34 million players around the world and 3,776,134 crews. Almost six billion (yes, billion) jobs have been played and almost 10 million have been created.
Over 422 million cars are owned by players, and more than 341 million weapons have found their way into player hands.
On the Rockstar Newswire, the studio commented, "we just wanted to say thank you to the awesome and dedicated players that have made GTA Online such a nonstop thrill over the past year on PS3 and Xbox 360 so far. We may have provided the world and the tools, but it’s really you players who have made the Online world as amazing as it has become. We’ve dug up a few bits of Online census info as you can see below that help illustrate that point."
Rockstar also says the first update for GTA5 after the PS4 and Xbox One launch will add online heists, and the developer says they'll have information "very soon".
