Lords of the Fallen is, for me, a game that has flown largely under the radar up until now. The game is due on October 28 for eighth generation consoles and PC later this year. Ahead of this release, we're starting to see more of the game. While many game developers want to hold content back, it appears that CI Games and Deck13 Interactive – who develop this title – have no qualms about showing you what is to come. Having only been shown a few times since Lords of the Fallen was debuted at E3 earlier this year, the title is set for an accomplished future if this new gameplay video is any indication of quality.
The video in question is nearly five hours long and features popular Youtuber and streamer Lobos Jr. Lobos fights his way through the co-developed German and Polish Lords of the Fallen to what appears to be great amusement. We're no questioning anyone's loyalties here, but remembering the recent debacle with Youtubers and contracts regarding Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor, no one is safe from scrutiny. If it is any consolation, we at Gameranx think Lords of the Fallen looks amazing with or without a preview copy.
At any rate, if swinging monstrous weapons around sounds like your kind of thing, you'll want to save up some cash over the next week or so. We're pretty excited to get our hands on the game. Check out the gameplay video we've been discussing here below:
