Microsoft Launches New Xbox 360 Bluetooth Headset, Media Remote

July 26, 2011 by Ian Miles Cheong

Microsoft is launching two new products for its Xbox 360—a bluetooth headset and a media remote,

Microsoft has unveiled a pair of new products for its Xbox 360 to go with the sleek look of their current slim line of consoles.

The new wireless headset comes in glossy black and comes with bluetooth capabilities.  Bereft of wires, the new headset looks like something that wouldn't look terribly out of place in an office. There's less parts to break, too. Additionally, the new Xbox 360 Wireless Headset with Bluetooth comes equipped with Bluetooth 3.0 for noise canceling, and runs on a battery that works for eight straight hours before needing a recharge.

Likewise, the new Media Remote comes in a similarly sleek, glossy black design. I can't really see the use for it as Xbox 360's don't run Blu-ray discs, anyway, but if you're still watching DVDs on your unit, you might as well pick one up.

The Xbox 360 Wireless Headset with Bluetooth goes for $59.99 while the Media Remote sells for $19.99. Both items will be on sale this November.
