Dark Souls 2 Crown of the Ivory Tower a Week After Release

October 7, 2014 by Stephen Daly

Maybe Bandai Namco’s trailer people were too busy dying until now.

Dark Souls 2 The Lost Crowns trilogy DLC's final installment, the Crown of the Ivory Tower, has been out for a week now but that hasn't stopped Namco Bandai from releasing a trailer for the expansion anyway.

Parhaps they've been dying too much over the last week to release the trailer before now but regardless, here's what they have to say about it:

"FromSoftware has saved its most challenging obstacles, enemies, and bosses for the final chapter of the truly arduous journey symbolized by Dark Souls 2 The Lost Crowns trilogy. The previous DLC chapters (Crown of the Sunken King and Crown of the Old Iron King) were specifically designed to enhance, challenge, and bring players to their knees while Crown of the Ivory King will deliver a grand finale with the same unique torturous zest!"

Dark Souls 2 is out now on PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. Each of the DLCs in The Lost Crowns Trilogy can be purchased from PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, and Steam.

You can watch the trailer, which mostly shows the snowy landscapes Eleum Loyce and typical Dark Souls ruins, below.
