2K Australia and Gearbox have released a new making-of documentary video for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, which delves into the origins of four new vault hunters.
Those who've played Borderlands 2 will recognise Nisha the Lawbringer and Wilhelm the Enforcer, two of Handsome Jack's most formidable lieutenants.
Players who opt to choose Wilhelm will be able to propel him further towards his cybernetic appearance in Borderlands 2, while Nisha players will get to use her whip and try out her quick-draw shooting abilities.
Athena, who previously appeared in a DLC expansion for the original Borderlands, The Secret Armory of General Knoxx, also joins the game but with a new design which allowed the team to test out a shield-bearing character. Sort of like Captain America's shield, Athena can use hers for protection and she can ricochet the shield to takeout several foes at once.
Claptrap joins the party as well and will have an origin story to explain his new, heavily armed outlook on life on Pandora's moon.
Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is set for release on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 on October 17th but the game may come to PS4 and Xbox One eventually.
