Grand Theft Auto 5 will release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 18, with the Windows version to come January 27, 2015.
All three versions will receive the expected visual and technical upgrades. This includes higher resolution, increased draw distances, damage and weather effects. There is even a new foliage system.
In terms of content, there will be new weapons, vehicles, activities, and wildlife. Traffic will be denser, thanks to the higher capabilities of the new platforms. The new version will also have extra content in the radio stations, with 100 new songs and new DJ mixes.
Grand Theft Auto Online is getting a bump in the number of concurrent players, up to 30 for the PlayStation and Xbox One versions. All the content that was in the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 version will also be in the new versions.
If you are upgrading from the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360, you will get exclusive content, mainly new versions of classic vehicles. There will be a new version of the Dukes, the Dodo Seaplane, and an easier to use Blimp. You will also get new activities, such as wildlife photography, shooting range challenges, new weapons, etc.
If you preorder the game, you will get an additional $ 1,000,000 to play with. That translates to $ 500,000 for the main story and Grand Theft Auto Online each.
