Destiny sold well on Amazon, but not everyone is satisfied.
To be specific, fans who bought the special Ghost Edition are chiming in with one star reviews, and most of their complaints are not with the game itself. The problem is many customers received their Ghost Edition with broken packaging.
What seems to be the problem in particular is that the top of the box they used to ship the bundle with, which is made of heavy cardstock, broke down for many customers while shipping. Some mention one huge tear, others say they appear on two sides.
Those who did get their boxes intact are happy with the bundle overall. The Ghost replica looks great, weighs just right, and is rechargeable via USB. The steelbook case was designed well, and the books and pamphlets were all kept safe in a leather cover.
Of course, other reviews brought up other things, and just like we covered yesterday, opinions on the game itself are polarizing. Fans are either very disappointed with missed expectations, or satisfied with the game as it is.
