LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham Will be the First LEGO Game With a Season Pass

September 9, 2014 by Stephen Daly

Three DLC packs have been confirmed and more content is promised.

Warner Bros. has today announced that LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham will be the first LEGO game with a season pass.

Six DLC packs will be included with the pass, each featuring a unique themed mission, and of those, three have confirmed. The packs we know of at the moment are:

  • The Dark Knight Pack: This sees Batman and Commissioner Gordon work to chase Harvey Dent's police escort despite trouble from the Joker and his gang. Catwoman and Bane from The Dark Knight Rises will also feature.
  • Man of Steel Pack: Players will take command of Jor-el, his wife Lara, and their robot Kelex to send the infant Superman on a course to Earth during General Zod's rebellion.
  • Batman 75th Pack: Celebrate the Dark Knight's 75th anniversary by playing as the Joker and Harley Quinn to set up some celebratory set pieces. The pack lets you play as Batman through some of his most iconic scenes down through the years, including his very first appearance in Detective Comics #27.

The three packs mentioned above will be released on launch day, November 11th in North America and November 14th in Europe, and we'll know more about the contents of the pass and the other DLC packs "at a later date."

Beyond Gotham's season pass costs $15 and the game will be available for Nintendo 3DS, PC, PS3, PS4, PS Vita, Wii U, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
