WWE 2K15: Zach Ryder, Beard Tech Previewed In NBA 2K15, And More

August 26, 2014 by Ryan Parreno

2K Sports graphics technology is really impressive in its photorealism.

One WWE superstar has chimed in on their possible non-appearance in WWE 2K15.

Zack Ryder answered a fan on Twitter, saying point blank that he doesn’t think he will be appearing in the game. The game’s current revealed roster does not include Zach Ryder, but not all wrestlers have been revealed yet.

It should be noted that fellow superstar Justin Gabriel denied that he would be in the game when asked on Twitter, but was subsequently confirmed by the WWE. Gabriel was asked at a time when it was not clear if he was still in the company, so he may have been telling the truth then. However, it is also possible that he was simply following company policy. In Zack’s case, there is no reason to believe he has been fired, so he may have been told to deny he would be in the game when he actually could be included.

A fan has pointed out that theWWE Supercard mobile game has some overlap with the announced 2K15 roster. Therefore, it is possible that some superstars that will be in 2K15 have been hinted at in Supercard. There is no basis to believe this theory, aside from both games containing wrestlers currently employed by the WWE.

If this theory turns out to be true, there are four likely candidates from Supercard that will be inWWE 2K15:

·         Rusev

·         Eva Marie

·         Bo Dallas

·         Adam Rose

To end, here is a sneak preview at the beard rendering technology that will likely be used in WWE 2K15.

This is actually a screenshot from NBA 2K15, which is most likely using the same tech thatWWE 2K15 has to render the beard of Miami Heat’s Chris Andersen. Even if you don’t follow basketball, the beard looks quite impressive and realistic, and this makes it likely the beards of WWE wrestlers such as Daniel Bryan will be impressively rendered as well. For comparison’s sake, you can see pictures of Chris Andersen in real life here.

WWE 2K15 is coming October 28 to the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One
