Bandai Namco and Cyberconnect2 have shared new previews of Naruto Storm Revolution.
They shared 40 new screenshots, showing pre-timeskip versions of Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Rock Lee, Neji, Tenten, Ino, Shikamaru, Choji, Kiba, Shino, Hinata, Gaara, Temari, and Kankuro Sound Ninja Kimimaro. This is Naruto, with his friends and rivals as they originally appeared in the comics and TV show.
These pre-timeskip versions also retain their original abilities. The screenshots only show them using fighting each other one on one. Therefore, it also seems that these pre-timeskip characters will not have Combination Ultimate Jutsus, or other advanced techniques. Therefore, these characters may be weaker than the other characters in the roster.
If this turns out to be true, these pre-timeskip characters will not be suitable for competitive play, but if you only thinks of these as additional content, fifteen more characters is a nice little bonus.
There is also a new 30 second commercial showing off several scenes from the game. This includes segments from the Ninja Escapades mode, which add to the Naruto backstory with anime style cutscenes.
Naruto Storm Revolution will be released on September 16 on Windows, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360. You can check out these new screenshots below.
