Starcraft 2 Arcade ‘Rock the Cabinet’ Contest Winners Announced

Blizzard has taken the opportunity to announce the final three “Rock the Cabinet” winners today.

Earlier this year, Blizzard launched its largest competition for the Starcraft II Arcade. They called it Rock the Cabinet. They asked the community to create awesome games for a chance to win $15,000 in cash and prizes. 

With over 100 submitted games, the studio pared them down to the top 10 and asked the community to select the final five. 

They are: Ultimate Boss Battles, Iron Fire, Star Party, Templar TV, and Impossible Bosses.

The task to select the final three was determined by the Starcraft 2 designers, which came down to approachability. You can watch the video below to see who won.

1st place prizes:
$7,000
Developer Jam Session with StarCraft II development team
Tickets to Blizzcon
Localization for the game in five languages

2nd place prizes:
$5,000
Tickets to Blizzcon
Localization in five languages

3rd place prizes:
$3,000
Tickets to Blizzcon
Localization in five languages
