StarCraft fans your decade long wait for StarCraft II could be over by the end of this month. Mike Morhaime, president of Activision Blizzard, announced at a company earnings call that closed beta of the epic RTS game will launch this month.
The beta will be offered in the following regions: North America, Europe, Taiwan, Australia, New Zealand and South Korea. Morhaime said the beta would be accessible by thousands of players and used to gather feedback and generate excitement.
Development of StarCraft II, as some might remember, was announced back in 2007 and it is expected to release in the first half of 2010.
