Only1Gam3r has posted a new video exploring why it might be a good idea to add an exclusive mob or mobs, to the console version of Minecraft.
The PC version of Mojang's blockbuster (forgive the pun) has a huge host of features which will likely only make it to console eventually, if at all. Only1Gam3r suggests that exclusive mobs or other content could convince PC gamers to give the console version a try.
It's worth pointing out that even before the release of the PS4 and Xbox One versions of Minecraft, the console editions have already outsold the game on PC while the cheaper mobile version remains the best selling.
In another video, he looked at the benefits of a custom skin editor which could work in a similar fashion to the emblem editor in Call of Duty: Black Ops. Any such feature would need to be balanced with the skin packs already available given that people would try to make skins which Mojang and 4J don't own the rights to.
A skin upload feature would be pretty interesting as well, though it might prove technically difficult to implement.
Minecraft comes to PS4 and Xbox One next month.
