We have new information on Destiny, related to the beta break and PS Home.
So, sorry to disappoint everyone, but as the official Twitter account has revealed ,the beta is going temporarily offline. If you are one of those Playstation 3 and Playstation 4 owners adversely affected by this, just a reminder; this is what betas are like. We can only assume that Bungie is prepping for when the beta is launched for Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Of course, you also got a lot of time to play the game on your console of choice already, and you will not be waiting long.

Bungie actually revealed the timeline for the beta, and with it, the announcement of a special prize. If you play the beta July 26 starting 2 PM (we assume PST), you can earn an exclusive emblem. You will want to log on that day for it, since the beta will end the day after.
Over in the Destiny Blog, Bungie revealed that the official Destiny Companion is ready for download on iOS and Android, so if you needed something to occupy your time for now, this is it. It will work with the Destiny beta when it comes back online, so it’s worth getting this early on.
Bungie also revealed in the Q&A that the level cap has been deliberately set at 8, and yes, there are definitely things fans still haven’t found in the beta. So, if you guys really want something to do now, you should find out what has already been found so you can get at finding the stuff no one else has yet.
Destiny is set for release on September 9th for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
