The official NBA 2K Facebook page has finally revealed the cover for NBA 2K15.
Of course, Kevin Durant is front and center for the new cover, showing him dribbling a ball set against a red background. It's a great cover, and one that could help fans forget (if just for a minute) the real life drama that's unveiled with player trades and transfers in the past few weeks. We're sure this game will update with those transfers too, but at least 2K Sports chose the right athlete this year so that cover stays as is.
The other big news, of course, is the revelation that Pharrell Williams, of N.E.R.D. and 'Happy' fame, is doing the curation for the music for the new game. Whether you like his song or not, this should be taken as good news. Pharrell has an eclectic taste that spans several genres. It reflects on his music, and it means we'll get to hear a lot of great songs (some would argue, better than his own) while playing the game. I would go so far as to say that this might be the best sounding NBA 2K game ever.
NBA 2K15 is coming October 7 to PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Windows.
