Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call Takes a Trip Down Memory Lane

July 3, 2014 by Ian Miles Cheong

Enjoy a new video of Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call.

Square Enix today launched its Legacy of Music Campaign with the first in a series of vignettes that will walk fans of the age old series through the musical history of the Final Fantasy franchise all through the unique visual aesthetic and gameplay of Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call.

Showcasing the music, characters and environments from the first three Final Fantasy games, the first vignette sets the stage for the exciting Legacy of Music campaign. In addition to the vignette series, the campaign will unveil new details and present fans with exciting opportunities in the upcoming weeks.

Combining hallmark Final Fantasy music with RPG elements, the new Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call includes a metric ton of new content, including the new Versus Mode where players can now compete head-to-head with local friends and other players via the Nintendo Network.

The game features 221 songs and more than 60 playable characters from the Final Fantasy franchise – including Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children and Final Fantasy Tactics, as well as recently released titles like Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. Players can relive nostalgic moments as they tap their way through key Final Fantasy events, field themes and battle arrangements.

The latest gameplay vignette is available to view below.
