Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare E3 2014 Booth Presentation Surfaces Online

June 11, 2014 by Ian Miles Cheong

Activision’s booth presentation of COD: AW has surfaced online

Activision showed off a ten minute long presentation of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare at their E3 2014 booth. The widescreen presentation depicts the purpose of Atlas, and is narrated by Gideon Emery, who voices the character named Gideon, and by Kevin Spacey’s character, Jonathan Irons. If you're wondering why Gideon Emery sounds familiar, it's because you might have heard him in any number of games. Most recently, he voiced the male Crusader character in Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls.

It tells of how the organization known as Atlas is a superpower for hire—a next generation of mercenaries, in other words.

For the player’s first mission, the player must use the Atlas simulation to prove themselves to Atlas by participating in a simulation in which a nuclear power plant has been taken over by hostages near the city of Seattle.

After that portion of the presentation ended, viewers were treated to scenes from the game proper, which spans all over the world. Some of the footage showcased at the presentation is stuff we’ve already seen, but much of it was new. You can check out a recording of the footage below.

According to CharlieIntel, which took the video, the ground would shake during certain moments and a gust of wind would be blown at viewers during certain scenes of the trailer.
