OnLive says that they are currently in talks with both Sony and Microsoft to adopt their streaming videogame technology on both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
OnLive, which works on a variety of devices including the iPad, PC, Mac and a variety of modern TVs, has been officially backed by publishers like Electronic Arts and Warner. However, despite its compatibility with many devices, traditional manufacturers have been hesitant to negotiate with the company.
OnLive's Joe Bentley wants to work together with Sony and MS instead of competing with them. He said,
Absolutely, they would make great consoles. Our controller is a hybrid between a PS3 controller and an Xbox controller. It's all compatible, it would just work. There are OnLive guys chatting [Sony and MS], but we'll see where it goes. But it would absolutely work, we're ready to work with everybody.
