4J Studios, the company behind the ports for Minecraft on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, have posted two new screenshots of the game comparing the draw distance of the PS3 version of the game with the PS4 version.
They also revealed they are aiming to increase the world size for the PS4 version by at least 36 times compared to the PS3 version.

PS4
As you can see, the draw distance of the PS4 version is significantly farther than its PS3 counterpart, which kind of has a Silent Hill effect going on with the amount of fog there is in the scene.
It goes without saying that the game is going to use the PS4’s much more powerful GPU and processor to garner the best performance and quality out of the game. It’s still not as good as what you can find on the PC, with its countless mods and graphical improvements, but it’s certainly a whole lot better than what the PS3 and Xbox 360 have to offer.
