Rockstar has revealed the 1st few Rockstar Verified jobs from fans, as part of the #CaptureWeekend Awards for Grand Theft Auto Online.
Contend: Corrupt Cops will have you playing the fuzz, out to kick ass and eat donuts, and yes, you are all out of donuts. You’re chasing after the Ballas gang, around the banks on Procopio Beach, Paleto Bay. The Ballas are wearing purple and armed with knives, but hey, you’re a cop. When you’ve taken them out, you can collect as much of their loot as ‘evidence’ as you want.
GTA: That’s My Rhino is not Spider-Man related, but you’ll have fun with it anyway. You’re not chasing a leather clad giant named Alexei, but instead, a Rhino Tank. You get to fly around it in P-996 Lazers, chasing it across the Alamo Sea, but watch out! Armed mercenaries from the ground are going to try to take you out too.
GTA: Payback Time is a more conventional (for GTA) heist, but not without its novelty. This time, you enter the Vespucci Canals in BMX bikes, and get to switch around vehicles in the heat of the battle. This jobs has been designed to deemphasize PVP, over tough AI opponents. Good luck getting out of Vespucci in one piece.
Lastly, Contend: Adventure Team brings you and your joes trekking to the top of Mt. Chiliad. Use your kung fu grip to drive your vehicle of choice up there, and your eagle eyes to get to the Capture point, as you parachute your way down to it.
Rockstar clarifies that they reserve the right to make changes to job names, as well as the content, for whatever reason (mostly balance) before they get Verified, but of course, that just stands to reason. Rockstar wants you to keep those job ideas coming, as they will verify more in the near future. All four jobs are available now for all Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.
