Epic Games has three titles in development according to founder Tim Sweeney.
Speaking to Edge, Sweeney said free-to-play title Fortnite is the furthest along of the three while a mobile game is also being worked on. He also commented on an unannunced high-end console game saying, "it's going to push next-generation graphics as you'd always expect Epic to do."
He declined to elaborate further on the project.
Last month, an Epic Games animator revealed artwork of an unannounced title at the Game Developers Conference which may be connected.
Commenting on the belief that Epic is shifting away from game development toward Unreal Engine support, Sweeney said the company has 100 engineers working in collaboratin with 100 game developers at any one time. He commented:
"The industry's changing – this generation it seems like there are about a third of the number of triple-A titles in development across the industry as there was last time around – and each one seems to have about three times the budget of the previous generation. I think we're heading towards a future where triple-A is the minority."
Gears of War, Epic's most prominent franchise of the last generation, was acquired by Microsoft in January.
