Rockstar Games is a massive video game development studio that’s known for delivering some great video game titles although at the moment they are only known for two particular franchises. Those franchises being Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption. While the latter recently had a sequel installment hit the marketplace, fans of the Grand Theft Auto franchise have been waiting on a new installment. Despite this, Grand Theft Auto V is still an iconic video game release and still enjoyed by players worldwide.
Most might log on to Grand Theft Auto V anymore to enjoy the online component, Grand Theft Auto Online, but there’s been a trend lately regarding a specific scene from the campaign catching attention online. Early on in the game, Franklin gets chewed out by Lamar and while it’s a quick spat, the cutscene has become a meme online. There are so many different videos replacing Lamar with other fictional characters and there’s no telling just what would come out next. However, it looks like the original voice actors behind these two iconic characters decided to join in on the fun.
Actors Shawn Fonteno and Slink Johnson have a video uploaded online which you can view above as they replicate the iconic scene. It’s certainly a trip seeing these two play their iconic characters once again and likely has people eager to see these two back into the Grand Theft Auto franchise, it’s a shame that we didn’t receive a DLC expansion for single-player content highlighting the duo again.
For now, we’re left waiting on news regarding the next thrilling Grand Theft Auto installment. Rumors are flooding the internet daily about what we can expect from Grand Theft Auto 6. The latest rumor that’s been circulating online suggests that we’ll see a female protagonist in the sixth mainline installment. Again, all we can do is wait for that official announcement trailer to hit the internet.
