Batman: Arkham Knight Screens Show Batmobile Racing Up a Wall

April 16, 2014 by Stephen Daly

We also see the Dark Knight fighting gang members and gliding across Gotham’s skyline.

Several new screenshots of Rocksteady's Batman: Arkham Knight have been revealed and feature Batman beating up street thugs, gliding across Gotham's rooftops, and the Batmobile which appears to be racing up a wall in one of the Riddler's challenges.

We've more screenshots giving us a good look at the Arkham Knight himself, a character created by Rocksteady in conjunection with DC, and some of the returning characters including Oracle, Two Face, Penguin, and Gordon. While you've probably seen it, the game's announcement trailer is still impressive even with repeated viewing, an analysis of which you can check out here.

Rocksteady insists that the game will be the final installment of the Arkham series they develop and producer Sefton Hill has explained the decision to move to PS4 and Xbox One saying that leaving the older consoles behind allows them to be more ambitious.

Batman: Arkham Knight launches later this year for PC, PS4, and Xbox One but last-gen owners can still look forward to Arkham Origins' Cold, Cold Heart DLC which will be released on April 22nd for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. The DLC isn't coming to Wii U because of a lack of interest.
