Duke Nukem Forever which released earlier this week received some harsh reviews from many gaming sites that didn't go well with 2K Games' PR Firm, The Redner Group. Following the poor critical reception, the PR Firm went on to indimate game reviewing sites by tweeting "we r reviewing who gets games next time and who doesn’t based on today’s venom" thereby questioning the integrity of journalists.
It didn't take long that the tweet was noticed by 2K Games themselves who have now fired the PR Firm saying,
2K Games does not endorse or condone the comments made by @TheRednerGroup and confirm they no longer represent our products. We maintain a mutually respectful relationship with the press and will continue to do so. We don’t condone @TheRednerGroup‘s actions at all.
Seems like controversy has followed Duke Nukem Forever even after the highly anticipated release, as has been the case for the last 15 years the game has spent in development phase.
