THQ has confirmed the development of Homefront 2 despite the recent closure of Kaos Studios, who developed the original Homefront. The original title overwhelmingly negative reviews from both the press and those who bought it, begging the question as to why the publisher would want to continue the franchise.
The game is apparently being developed by THQ's Montreal-based studio and former employees of Kaos Studios are being given the opportunity to reapply for their jobs to work on the new title.
