Well, that didn’t take long. Just two days after the latest Assassin’s Creed game was leaked, Ubisoft has come out to not only confirm the open-world project’s existence, but also supply a stunning video. This, fellow assassins, is Assassin’s Creed Unity.
All the information we’ve previously heard seems to be spot on. Unity looks to be set in or around the French Revolution, which began in 1789. The story is also said to include the Reign of Terror and the rise of Napoleon.
The below description was provided with the trailer.
"We have been working on the new Assassin's Creed for more than three years and although we weren't quite ready to show you our full vision for a next-gen only AC, it seems Abstergo are trying to force our hand!" it reads. "So here's a true first look at in-game footage from Assassin's Creed Unity. Stay tuned — we'll have many more exciting details for you in the months ahead!"
Unity will be available by the end of the year.
