Square Enix has released an "Epic Tale" trailer for Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster which launches tomorrow in North America and on Friday in Europe for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita.
The publisher commented:
"This week, get ready to be thrown back into the magical world of Spira, and join Tidus, Yuna and co in two of the most celebrated adventures of their generation — now in beautiful high definition.
"Featuring over 200 hours of gameplay – including content never before released outside of Japan – fully remastered HD visuals, and rearranged music."
In our review of the Remaster, Phil Owen noted that while the games offer an impressive visual overhaul the new look can't compensate for some aged gameplay mechanics. Development of the game is not being handled by Square Enix but rather by Virtuos Games who contributed to The Last of Us and brought XCOM: Enemy Unknown to iOS.
