Tetsuya Nomura has revealed that the recording process for Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix has been finished.
The anthology was announced only last October 2013, well after the release of Kingdom Hearts 1.5 Remix. Square Enix may have promised improvements in the porting process, but it is only reasonable to expect a mostly conservative port, given both budget and time constraints, and ongoing development for Kingdom Hearts 3.
Nomura revealed this information in a new interview in Famitsu. In the same interview, he revealed that he has also been working on scenarios for Kingdom Hearts X, the Japan-exclusive installment of the game playable only in PC browsers.
Nomura also made earlier promises that 2.5 Remix would have new scenes, so this is presumably the recording work that they have finished in short order. Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix is set for release this year exclusively to Playstation 3. Considering that 1.5 Remix took almost an exact year to release since announcement, we may expect 2.5 Remix to come by this October.
This is just a repeat, but hey, if you're hungry for more Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix, watch the announcement trailer below.
