Bungie is going to do everything in its power to spread the holy word of Destiny. The massive first-person shooter, which is set to launch on just about every console under the sun this fall, is “a thing to be shared.” The developer recently answered fan questions on its official website, and when poked by one wannabe soldier about the option of streaming beta footage, the team decided to show just how sharing it wants to be in the future.
“We will do far more than allow you to share your glorious war stories from the frontier. We’ll amplify your voices, if they are brave,” the post reads. “Some of you will even be selected to play a role in our stories, as we go to war with (and against) our community in the wild for the first time. That will be as glorious a moment for us as it will be for you. Watch this space. We have plans within plans within plans.
“Destiny, after all, is a thing to be shared.”
Grabbing excitement through player-driven streams is a pretty simple buzz-generating method, so you can expect Bungie to try to highlight some of the most eye-catching action that happens during the summer beta.
