This morning Majesco, makers of the Cooking Mama series, have announced a surprise sequel to the DS spin-off Gardening Mama. Launching just in time for spring, Gardening Mama 2: Forest Friends will revisit the stylus based mini-games of the original, letting players grow, water, and fertilize beautiful gardens with over 50 different flowers and plants. In the sequel, players will also be able to harvest and deliver their plants to a variety of shops, trading for points that can then be spent on items to improve and decorate their garden. SpotPass can also be used to collect new garden backgrounds.
Gardening Mama 2: Forest Friends does not have a definitive release date yet, but expect it sometime next month. Check out the box art and some screenshots below!
