Fall Guys Had 1.5 Million Active Players in Only 24 Hours

August 5, 2020 by Nick Biazzo

And growing.

The official twitter account for Fall Guys revealed that the game had over 1.5 million new players in the first 24 hours.

Check out the celebratory tweet down below:

When we say Fall Guys is experiencing a lot of traffic…

We had over 1.5 million new players in the first 24 hours!

😳

We're working on our first patch for the game, listening to ALL of your feedback and ideas, and are super grateful to everyone who's supported so far! ❤️ pic.twitter.com/OpD714xu26

The news comes as a big achievement, as the game has only been out for 24 hours and Fall Guys has already surpassed 1.5 million active players. Yes, that number has a lot to do with the game being a free PS Plus title, however, there is a lot of appeals when it comes to Devolver Digital’s Fall Guys. The game is colorful, simple and requires a certain finesse to succeed, so it doesn’t come as much of a shock that the game is performing well in terms of active player counts.

In related news, in honor of the game’s highly anticipated release yesterday, a brand new launch trailer for the game has been released and showcases the simplistic fun Fall Guys has to offer. Fall Guys is a massive 60-player online title, where the goal of the game is to outlast all of your opponents through all the madness. Ranging from a variety of game modes, Fall Guys has a ton to offer past its fun, simplistic vibe.

Fall Guys is out now on PlayStation 4 and PC platforms. PS Plus members will be able to download the game for free, as a part of August 2020’s lineup.

What are your thoughts on this news? Were you one of those 1.5 million players active yesterday? Let us know in the comments down below and be sure to stay right here at Gameranx for the latest gaming news releasing.
