This is a guide for the FP6 in Call of Duty Ghosts.
The FP6 always does one shot kills close up, but there’s a catch: hit anyone any farther and you’re likely not to hit at all. Since it’s a pump action rifle, rate of fire is limited to 89 rounds per minute, and of course, hipfire is excellent. It’s either do or die.
Recoil is high, but it won’t matter. Aim time is to your advantage at 200 milliseconds and you have fully mobility. The FP6 can hold 5 rounds at one time, and reload time is kind of good, at 0.83 seconds per shell. It does open up options to reload completely when there are lulls and to add them in one at a time in the middle of the action.
The muzzle brake is the first attachment you simply have to add. It extends range and improves per shot performance, if only by a little bit. In stark contrast, slug rounds and optics are of no use to you with this gun. The foregrip can provide a slight advantage, since you can more easily line up sights with it. At the very least, it’s better than most other options.
Steady Aim is an essential Perk for this shotgun, as it always is. For best results, use with Ready Up so that you shoot first. Blast Shield will keep you safe from IEDs and grenades, a prime consideration given your range. On the other hand, you will make good use of concussion grenades yourself, if you use the Extra Tactical Perk.
