Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire Soundtracks Out Now on iTunes

February 14, 2014 by Stephen Daly

They join Pokemon Black and White and Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver.

The Pokemon Company has released the soundtracks of Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire on iTunes.

There are 109 tracks in all and they're available to download for €8.99 as an album or for €0.99 individually and can be purchased here.

Composers Junichi Masuda, Gō Ichinose, and Morikazu Aoki took much of their inspiration from the Japanese island of Kyushu for the games, which were set in the Hoenn region.

GameFreak has been steadily releasing the music from its Pokemon titles on iTunes; HeartGold and SoulSilver tracks were added last month while X and Y's scores went up in November and were followed by FireRed and LeafGreen's in December.

The soundtracks of Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, Black, White, Black 2, and White 2 will all be released in the coming months.

Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire were originally released in 2002 in Japan and in the West in 2003.
