We’re all dealing with the health outbreak pandemic going on right now. The coronavirus swept the world and has put so many of us into quarantines while refraining from attending any gatherings. While the frustration is real, the focus is still getting a vaccine ready to prevent the further spread of this disease. Still, this outbreak is also causing several event cancellations and while you can probably go ahead and write off all the events planned for 2020 now that we are moving into the second half of the year, there have been some alternatives.
One of the ways to bring out an alternative event is holding online streams. In particular, one of the more popular video game expos that happen annually is E3 and while we didn’t get the event this year, there have been several online streams in its place. E3 is usually the big expo to give developers and publishers a chance to showcase their upcoming software or hardware releasing into the market. Despite not having the expo, we are still receiving plenty of news that was intended for E3 thanks to these online streams so 2020 is actually filled with new announcements.
Now the latest stream to take place is Ubisoft with their Ubisoft Forward event. This is a stream dedicated to covering different upcoming Ubisoft video games such as the likes of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Watch Dogs Legion. Speaking of Watch Dogs, Ubisoft is hoping that enough people will log into Ubisoft’s Uplay during the show which would give you a free copy of Watch Dogs 2 on the PC platform.
If you didn’t catch the details for the event already, Ubisoft Forward is set to take place on July 12, 2020, at 12 PM PT. We’re sure that one of the elements that will be further detailed from this event will be Assassin’s Creed Valhalla especially after thirty minutes of gameplay footage leaked online.
