Konami's most popular series will be getting remade as the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection on both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, with support for 1080p graphics on the Sony console. The collection will feature MGS 2, MGS 3: Snake Eater and MGS: Peace Walker, originally for the PSP. However, the original Metal Gear Solid title will be absent from the release. On the PS3, Peace Walker will offer a "Transfarring" feature allowing owners of the PSP version to use their save files on the PS3.
Zone of the Enders 1 and 2 will be getting a revival in the Zone of the Enders HD Collection, which will see a release in 2012 on both the PS3 and Xbox 360. Likewise, the Silent Hill Collection, which includes Silent Hill 2 and 3, will be touched up for HD.
