The Kickstarter-backed Metroidvania title Shovel Knight was intended for release in September last year, but was since delayed to 2014.
Today, the game has resurfaced with a new trailer announcing its new March 31 release date for the PC.
In addition to the PC release date, its developers at Yacht Club Games have announced on Twitter that the 3DS and Wii U versions of the game will be out around the same time.
Clarifying March 31st: This is YCG's date for SK to be out. The exact day may vary slightly based on different platform's digital schedule.

The game is currently in alpha and is expected to head into beta very soon.
“And if you’re wondering why it took so long, let’s just say the game got a lot bigger than we originally intended, and we think everyone will be happy with that,” Yacht Club said.
