Two European Amazon websites have listed Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto 5 for PC though the game has yet to be officially announced for the platform.
The game page remains active on Amazon Germany but has been pulled from Amazon France. No release date is included in the listing which simply states "This item is not yet available."
This is the second time that Amazon Germany has indicated that Grand Theft Auto 5 would be released for PC following a previous listing in May of last year.
Nvidia's senior director of investor relations Chris Evenden claimed that Grand Theft Auto 5 was coming to PC last Autumn. The chip maker issued a correction saying Evenden had spoken in "error". While the title did not land on PC in 2013 AMD beta drivers were found to contain files seemingly confirming a port in October.
Eurogamer sources reported in the same month that Rockstar was aiming at an early 2014 release date for the game on PC.
Grand Theft Auto 4 was released in April 2008 and a PC version followed that December suggesting a similar trend may occur with its successor. Grand Theft Auto 5 launched on September 17th, 2013 for PS3 and Xbox 360.
