The latest ‘Aliens’ title is finally getting closer to our doorsteps’ as the game is now slated for a Spring 2012 release.
Aliens: Colonial Marines begins on a barren, abandoned ship by the name of U.S.S. Sulaco. Recovered in orbit around LV-426, players lead a group of specially-trained U.S. Colonial Marines as they board the deserted craft to reveal the crew’s fate. Anyone familiar with the series will know what happens next, and that hope for even our highly-trained Marines is treacherously bleak.
Gary Rosenfeld, Senior Vice President of New Media for Fox Consumer Products had this to say about the game and its development: “It’s no easy task to take on one of the most influential films of all-time, but SEGA and Gearbox are not going to disappoint. This game will be a must-have for fans of the ALIENS franchise and gamers around the globe.”
