Deadly Premonition released back in 2010 for last-generation consoles along with the PC platform. It’s since received a port on the Nintendo Switch after this game grew quite a cult following. This is a survival horror game that follows an FBI agent that was sent to a small rural town to aid in the investigation of a stranger murder. If you’re a fan of the drama series, Twin Peaks, you can find a ton of similarities between the two.
After ten years we’re going to get a sequel known as Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing In Disguise. This is only coming to the Nintendo Switch at the moment and we don’t have much to go off of right now. We know it’s coming this year and that it takes place in 2005 where our FBI agent is going to a town in New Orleans to solve a serial murder case.
As mentioned, it’s been a good while since we’ve heard anything from this game, and that finally changed. In a recent tweet, Hidetaka Suehiro, who is the game director behind Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise, alerted fans that something is coming and today we have a new trailer. This latest footage also came packed with a release date.
Little has been unveiled but the trailer should keep players interest until it finally launches. As mentioned, the trailer does highlight a release date and that’s July 10, 2020. Again, it only appears to be a Nintendo Switch release title, though we could see it ported to other platforms at a later date. For now, check out the latest trailer up above.
